Place Kate McGarrigle and Lio Fratelli
This summer, the SDC Laurier Ouest invites you to discover Experience Art!, a free cultural program that will enliven the neighborhood from June to August. Music, dance, circus, poetry, vocal art and outdoor performances will take place in two emblematic locations: Kate-McGarrigle Square in Outremont and the Jeanne-Mance / Lio Fratelli mural in Plateau-Mont-Royal.
Throughout the summer, let yourself be carried away by the festive rhythms of The Stage of Possibilities, the jazz of Sylvain Cossette, the lyric performances of the Canadian Institute of Vocal Art, the slam poetry of ÉLÉMO, the sounds of the Montréal Klezmer Trio Oktopus, as well as numerous dance, circus and emerging music shows.
The season will also include a vintage car exhibition in front of Saint-Viateur Church in Outremont on June 27, in collaboration with the VAQ.
Whether you are a performing arts enthusiast, a music lover or simply looking for free activities to do in the neighborhood, Experience Art! on Laurier West is an invitation to celebrate creativity, connection and local culture throughout the summer. Come enjoy unique performances in a friendly, accessible atmosphere for everyone! ✨

On June 27, Kate-McGarrigle Square will host a vintage car exhibition in collaboration with the Association des voitures anciennes du Québec, as well as jazz performances by Sylvain Cossette Trio, offering a friendly, summery atmosphere in the heart of the neighborhood.
The month of July offers a rich and varied program that celebrates the arts in all their forms. On July 3, Sylvain Cossette Quintette will present a jazz evening at Place Kate-McGarrigle. On July 8 and 9, Le souffle du soufi will enliven the Lio Fratelli area with a roaming circus performance inspired by movement and poetry.
